Liquid and Envy combine to provide the biggest club in Newcastle. This new ‘superclub’ has a 3000 person capacity over two floors, downstairs is Liquid with Envy upstairs. Liquid’s music leans towards chart with some dance thrown in, while Envy is more focused on the indie scene. If you’re on a budget but you still want to go out this maybe the club for you, with cheap admissions and cheap drinks on Mondays and Thursdays you can really enjoy yourself without your wallet taking a hit.
Due to its cheapness Liquid does attract a different sort of crowd compared to other places in Newcastle, this has led to its reputation of it being classed as slightly sleazy. However don’t judge a book by its cover and why not get down and experience it for yourself.
Monday: Tipsy (£3 admissions, £1 drinks)
Thursday: Poor! (£1 admissions, £1.50 drinks)
Friday: Friday Nights (£7 admissions, £2 selected drinks)
Saturday: Saturday Night @ Liquid and Envy (£3 admissions before 11pm, £7.70 till midnight, £8.70 after, drinks full price)
